YOUR TEACHER

Mrs. Virginia Hammond &

Kendra Beverly

My name is Virginia Walker. I have been working Child Care over 20 years. I graduated from Hamilton High School, and I received my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Shelby State Community College. I have also received my Infant and Toddler Child Development Associate under the leadership of Donna Reed. Currently I am a teacher in the Two-Year-Old classroom here at Little Saints Academy, entering my third year with this program. I enjoy every aspect of teaching and have realized in my years that our babies can teach us just as much as we ca teach them.

My name is Kendra Beverly. I am a single- mother to my eleven-year-old son. I have several years of experience in childcare, which includes two years with Head Start in Clarksdale, MS. I also worked as a Teacher Assistant at Delta State University for five years in the Hamilton- White Development Center. I joined the Little Saints Academy family in October of 2017. I hope to be a blessing to all of the children that I care for, by modeling the appropriate behavior and language skills that enable me to the best teacher I can be. It is my goal to work an assist the children with all activities as they practice and master age- appropriate learning activities, goals, and milestones.
