BLUE JAYS
Welcome to a new school year with Little Saints Academy!
My name is Ms. Kemyia Morgan, I am your student's three- year-old teacher! I have worked at Little Saints Academy for 2 years as a teacher’s assistant. This will be my first-year teaching and I could not be more excited to share this experience with you and your child. This will be the best and most memorable school year ever!
I grew up in Batesville, Mississippi and studied Education at Northwest Community College in which I obtained an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. After college, I moved to Memphis, Tennessee where I currently reside. I have lived in Memphis for 2 years now. I truly believe in this academy and I am confident it is the best academy around. I am looking forward to meeting and working with you and your child. We are going to have a great school year!
My name is Arnetta Hammond and I have had the privilege of being a part of Little Saints Academy since 2016. I possess a wealth of knowledge and experience, I am also incredibly committed to providing your family with a loving and developing sound foundation that will last a lifetime. I have always worked with preschoolers and children with significant special needs. I have a unique sense of communication with my parents and staff. I absolutely love working with children creating a safe, loving and structural environment where your child can grow and thrive in the world around them. I attended Hamilton High School and Shelby State Community College. I also have received my Child Development Associate (CDA). I’m First Aid and CPR certified, along with continuing my education by attending several training training by the local state Child Care Resource Center as well with Mississippi Building Blocks. I am a mother to s spectacular daughter who graduated this year, and I love retail therapy. Teaching is my first love and being a property manager is my second Passion. My favorite thing about teaching is when my Blue Jays greet me with a smile, warm hug, and when they express excietment about what they are going to learn. This makes my heart smile.
